Compact design allows the user to hold the captured mag catch button and spring in the weapon positively with one hand.  
Aids in the alignment of the mag catch button with the slot in the lower receiver.

Great tool
Never thought I needed another AR tool but this is one that you don’t know you need until you get it. It makes your mag release easy to install and adjust.

This tool will save you time looking for something to hold mag button in. Works great and saved my finger. No need for a dowel rod or looking for some other object to use. Love this tool!!!
