Ambidextrous Magazine Catch
Whether you are putting together your first AR build or maintaining an arms room, the Norgon Ambi-Catch™ Tool will make the installation or removal of the magazine catch a breeze. Don't risk damaging the side of your weapon trying to use a "field expedient" method of installing or removing the magazine release. Professionals use the proper tools to get the job done. Treat yourself to a low cost, professional addition to your armorer's toolkit.
Design elements limit the insertion of the magazine catch button and allow the user to maintain pressure on the button and spring positively with one hand. This leaves the other hand free to carefully remove or start the threading of the shaft of the magazine catch into the button for installation.
An alignment protrusion aids in stationing the magazine catch button for effortless, controlled guidance of the magazine release button and spring into the lower receiver. The alignment protrusion also serves to alert the user when the proper amount of revolutions have been executed reducing the time it takes to achieve the end of shaft "flush" condition with the face of the magazine catch button.
The Ambi-Catch™ Tool is made of a tough, durable polymer that will not scratch or mar your favorite weapon if you happen to lose control of the button and spring during magazine catch installation. Positive control of the magazine catch button in the depressed state allows the user to slowly guide the catch into the lower receiver during magazine catch installation. The Ambi-Catch™ tool can also be used to rapidly unload magazines for cleaning, maintenance or storage.
